Mr. Red, a young and curious rooster, was eagerly preparing for his first day of school. He adjusted his tiny backpack and glanced at the barn's entrance, where the path to the school began. "I can't wait to meet new friends," he thought, his feathers puffed up with excitement.
Mr. Red strutted down the path, his eyes wide with wonder at the world around him. As he neared the school, he spotted a group of other young animals gathered under a big oak tree. "Hello, everyone!" he called out, his voice carrying a cheerful note.
A friendly rabbit named Benny hopped over to greet him, his ears twitching with curiosity. "Hi there! I'm Benny. What's your name?" "I'm Mr. Red. It's my first day here," the rooster replied, feeling a bit shy.
The teacher, Ms. Feather, a wise old owl, welcomed them warmly. "Good morning, class! Today, we will learn about the importance of teamwork," she announced, her eyes twinkling with kindness. Mr. Red felt a surge of excitement as he found his seat.
Mr. Red sat with Benny and a few other new friends, sharing stories and snacks. "I never knew going to school could be so much fun," Benny said, munching on a carrot. "Me neither, but I’m glad we can learn and play together," Mr. Red replied, feeling grateful for his new friends.
As Mr. Red walked back home, he reflected on his first day. "I made new friends and learned so much," he thought, a smile spreading across his beak. He couldn’t wait to see what the rest of his school days would bring.
