Myra, her eyes wide with excitement, leaps out of bed, her favorite rainbow dress already laid out. The air is filled with the scent of pancakes and syrup, drifting up from the kitchen. She can hardly contain her excitement as she hurries downstairs, clutching her stuffed bunny for moral support, her laughter echoing through the house.
Myra squeezes her mom’s hand as they pass through the gates, her heart pounding with anticipation. Towering rides loom in the distance, their colorful carriages spinning and dipping above the sea of people. "Mom, can we go on everything?" she begs, her voice brimming with hope.
Myra peers up with a mixture of awe and nerves, her grip tightening on her bunny. The line snakes around the ride, filled with kids both nervous and thrilled. "Do you think I'll be brave enough, Bunny?" she whispers, then beams as her mom reassures her with a gentle squeeze.
Myra presses her nose to the glass, indecision painting her face as she tries to choose. The vendor, a cheerful man in a striped vest, winks and offers her a sample of fizzy rainbow candy. "It's like eating a rainbow on a cloud!" she giggles, her eyes twinkling with delight.
Myra climbs in with her mom, gripping the wheel as they spin faster and faster. Colors and faces swirl around her, her giggles rising above the music. "This is the craziest day ever!" she cries, hair flying in every direction.
Myra sits on a bench, clutching her prizes—a stuffed dragon, a swirl lollipop, and a heart full of memories. She leans against her mom, watching the lights twinkle on as night falls. "Can we come back tomorrow?" she asks, already dreaming of more adventures.
