Once upon a time, in the heart of a lush, green forest, two wolf cubs named Mézi and Misi lived in a cozy den with their family. These playful siblings loved to explore and often found themselves caught up in mischief. Their parents frequently reminded them of the forest's dangers, but the cubs' curiosity knew no bounds.
One day, as their parents prepared to leave for a hunting trip, their mother warned them once again. "Children, don’t wander too far from the den. The forest can be dangerous!" But Misi had other plans. "Let’s go explore the forest!" Mézi hesitated, remembering their mother’s words. "But Mom said not to go far…" Misi, full of excitement, insisted, "Oh, just a little bit! It’ll be fun!"
The cubs ventured deeper into the woods, their tails wagging with joy. They jumped over babbling streams, chased each other through the towering trees, and rolled in the soft, green moss. Laughter echoed through the forest as they played, unaware of the distance they had traveled.
As the afternoon wore on, a hush fell over the woods. Mézi looked around, his voice barely a whisper. "Misi… I think we’re lost." Misi tried to sound brave, though his heart raced. "Don’t be silly! Let’s just go back the way we came…" They retraced their steps, but each tree seemed identical, and their den was nowhere in sight.
Suddenly, the underbrush rustled ominously. Mézi stammered, "What… what was that?" Misi gulped, "Probably just the wind…" But then, a deep growl rumbled through the air. A big, shaggy bear stepped into view, his eyes fixed on the little wolves. The Bear growled menacingly, "What are you doing in my part of the forest, little wolves?"
Terrified, Mézi and Misi ran as fast as their legs could carry them, hearts pounding in their chests. The bear didn't follow, but the fear drove them onward until they heard a familiar voice. Their Mother called out, her voice laced with worry, "Mézi! Misi! Where are you?" Relief washed over them as they spotted their parents, and they tumbled into their embrace, tears streaming down their faces.
"We’re sorry! We shouldn’t have gone off without permission…" "We’ll never do it again!" Their parents hugged them tightly, Their Father speaking gently, "We’re just glad you’re safe. But we hope you’ve learned your lesson." From that day on, Mézi and Misi listened to their parents. They still went on adventures, but only in safe places and never alone again.
