Nerrow was a playful brown-and-white dog with soft floppy ears and a nose that could sniff out any mystery. As night tiptoed closer, he bounced around the yard, chasing his tail and barking at the fluttering moths. Tonight felt different—there was a fizzing excitement in the air, as if the stars themselves were waiting for him.
Nerrow paused, his nose twitching as he gazed up at the glowing moon. Suddenly, he felt a tingling in his paws and a tickle between his shoulder blades. With a surprised yelp, he leapt—and instead of coming back down, he floated up, up, higher than the treetops!"Wow! Am I... flying?" he barked in amazement, his tail wagging wildly in the cool air.
Nerrow zipped and zoomed through the sky, his ears flapping like little flags. He spotted gardens and playgrounds from above, giggling as he saw cats sneaking along fences and children’s toys left out on the lawns."Everything looks so tiny from up here! I wonder if the moon tastes like cheese," he mused, angling toward the glowing orb above.
Dipping closer to the water, Nerrow tried to catch his reflection, laughing at his upside-down ears and silly flying pose. He looped through the air, making moon-shaped patterns and discovering a patch of wildflowers that only bloom at night. Each petal sparkled with dew, and Nerrow made a gentle landing to sniff the magical blossoms.
"Oops! Sorry, Mr. Bat! I’m still learning how to steer," Nerrow called, his paws scrambling as he regained balance. The bat chattered back, amused, and together they danced through the night sky, weaving between clouds and chasing the mischievous wind.
Touching down softly, Nerrow curled up beneath his favorite bush, heart thumping with joy and paws tingling from his magical flight."What a marvelous secret," he thought, smiling as he watched the last stars fade away. Every night, under the moon’s gentle gaze, Nerrow knew he could soar above the world, wrapped in wonder and adventure—just waiting for the next moonlit flight.
