Nick bounded off the little boat, his glowing backpack bouncing with every step. His big, sparkling eyes took in the sparkling water, the curious shapes of giant leaves, and the distant, melodic hum of something unseen. With his heart pounding in his chest, he whispered to himself, "Snake Island, here I come! I bet there’s magic everywhere."
As Nick followed the path, the flowers’ humming grew louder, swirling into a gentle melody that made his cheeks tingle. He stopped to listen, noticing how the flowers seemed to sway in time with his footsteps. Suddenly, one flower leaned closer and whispered, "Follow the song, little one, but beware the riddles of the snakes."
A brave, violet-eyed snake with golden stripes slithered forward, its voice musical and sly. "To go further, you must answer this: What is seen in the water, but never gets wet?" Nick bit his lip, thinking hard, then grinned. "A reflection! That’s the answer." The snakes hissed in delight, their bodies coiling in approval, and the path ahead shimmered open with sparkling lights.
Nick tiptoed forward, feeling as if the woods were whispering secrets just for him. The glowing runes pulsed softly, guiding him deeper into the heart of the island. He reached out to touch a tree and heard a soft giggle, feeling braver with every magical step he took.
Nick held his glowing backpack close, feeling its warmth spread through him. He placed his hand on the crystal, and suddenly, the snakes, flowers, and even the trees began to sing together—unlocking the enchanted secret of the island. "You are brave, curious, and kind," intoned the rainbow snake. "The real magic is the wonder you bring wherever you go."
Nick smiled, his heart full of joy, as he made his way back to the boat. The island faded behind him, but the melody of magic and riddles lingered in his ears. "I can’t wait to tell everyone about the secret of Snake Island," he whispered, already dreaming of his next adventure.
