Dora was leading her friends in a game of tag when the ground seemed to tremble beneath their feet. Out of nowhere, a massive lion with a golden mane leapt from behind the bushes, its eyes wide and playful but its roar loud enough to send shivers through the group.
Blue yelped and dashed behind a tree, her tail tucked between her legs. Molly and Gil clung to each other, trembling as the lion padded around the playground.
Just as the friends caught their breath, a ghostly figure floated above the sandbox, its form shimmering and transparent in the afternoon light. The ghost let out a spooky wail, swirling around the frightened group.
Marshall tried to put on a brave face, but as the ghost swooped closer, he shrieked. "Run, everyone! Run!" The group bolted toward the exit, their hearts pounding.
No sooner had the friends escaped the ghost than a towering dinosaur emerged from the bushes, its scaly green tail swaying behind it. The dinosaur let out a thunderous roar, shaking the playground equipment.
"Not a d-d-dino, too!" whimpered Blue, her ears flattened in terror. The friends screamed and scattered, seeking any place to hide from the prehistoric visitor.
The terrified group burst into the clearing where Geo Umizoomi was busy building a robot. "Geo! You won't believe it! A lion, a ghost, and a Dino—they almost got us!" cried Molly, her voice shaking.
Geo Umizoomi put down his wrench and listened intently to their tale. "Let’s solve this mystery together. I have a hunch about what’s really going on."

Following the clues—paw prints, sheets, and a pile of costumes—the group soon discovered the truth. The lion's mane was just a mop, the ghost a bedsheet with eye holes, and the Dino a cardboard tail strapped to a friend’s waist.
From behind the slide stepped Milli, Bot, and Nonny, giggling as they removed their disguises. "Surprise! We just wanted to play a trick on you," said Milli, her eyes twinkling.
"That was so scary, but now it’s kind of funny," admitted Gil, a grin spreading across his face. "Next time, let’s all play together instead of scaring each other!" suggested Marshall.
Geo Umizoomi smiled, happy to see his friends together again. The group spent the rest of the afternoon playing games, their laughter echoing across the playground, braver and closer than ever.
