Milo, a small monster with fluffy blue fur and big, round eyes, gazed nervously at the dark forest stretching out before him. "Why does the night have to be so scary?" Milo whispered to himself, as he pulled his blanket closer.
Lila, a brave little rabbit with long ears and a bouncy hop, noticed Milo at the edge of the clearing. "Hello there! What are you doing out here alone?" Lila called out cheerfully.
Milo hesitated, but Lila's friendly demeanor put him at ease. "I... I'm afraid of the dark," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
Lila giggled softly. "Don't be silly! The night is full of wonders. Look!" She pointed with her paw at the dancing shadows. "They look like they're playing a game, don't they?"
Milo watched in awe as the shadows twirled and leaped, their movements reflecting the gentle sway of the trees. "I never noticed that before," he said, a hint of excitement in his voice.
Lila nudged Milo with her nose. "And those stars? They're like little friends watching over us," she explained, her eyes shining brightly.
Milo looked up, feeling a sense of comfort as the stars twinkled back at him. "I think... I think I like the night now," he said softly, a smile spreading across his face.
Milo turned to Lila, his fear replaced by curiosity and excitement. "Thank you, Lila. Can we explore more?" he asked eagerly.
Lila nodded, her heart full of joy at her new friend's courage. "Of course! There's so much to see and so many adventures to have," she replied.
Milo and Lila sat side by side, watching the sky change colors. "The night isn't scary with a friend like you," Milo said happily.
Lila smiled, "And it's even more fun with a friend like you," she replied. Together, they watched the sunrise, ready for more adventures and the promise of a new day.
