Noura stands proudly beside a shiny red bike, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Nearby, a big colorful toy train waits on the porch, its plastic wheels catching the light. Mona skips toward her friend, holding a vibrant kite decorated with swirling rainbows and fluttering tails.
"Look at my new toys! I have a red bike and a big train," Noura announces, barely able to contain her joy.
"Wow! I have a colorful kite. Let's go play outside," Mona replies, her grin as wide as the summer sky.
"Yes! We can fly your kite and I can ride my bike," Noura suggests, bouncing eagerly on her toes.
Mona nods, her fingers gripping the kite string tightly. She glances at Noura's bike, then at the wide blue sky, her imagination soaring with possibilities.
"And then we can play with your train! Maybe we can even build a station for it in the grass," she says, eyes shining with hope.
Mona[/@ch_2] runs, the kite soaring and looping above. Noura pedals her red bike in wide circles, her hair streaming behind her.]
The sun glints off the kite’s fabric as it flutters higher, painting shadows on the grass below. Noura whoops with joy, steering her bike around the field, sometimes racing the kite’s shadow. The two friends cheer for each other, giggling as the wind picks up.
Noura carefully places the train’s cars on the makeshift rails, while Mona constructs a little waiting bench for imaginary passengers. Their hands move quickly, building a miniature world where trains chug and kites zoom overhead. The gentle breeze rustles the leaves, adding to the magic of their play.
"Today was the best day," Mona says, her cheeks flushed.
"I’m glad we played together. Let’s do this again tomorrow!" Noura replies, squeezing her friend’s hand.
The field is quiet except for the soft chirping of crickets. Noura wheels her bike home, the train tucked under her arm, and Mona clutches her kite as she skips down the path. Both girls glance back at the field, already dreaming of tomorrow’s adventures.
