Nova strolled through the park, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her face. With each step, she felt the soft grass underfoot and heard the distant laughter of children. As she reached a small pond that shimmered under the sun's rays, her eyes caught a glimpse of something small and furry in the distance.

A little dog bounded over to Nova, its tail wagging furiously as if it had found its long-lost friend. Nova knelt down, "Hello there, little one," she said, reaching out to scratch behind the dog's ears. The dog barked happily, jumping around her legs, clearly delighted by the attention.

Nova sat on a nearby bench, and the little dog settled beside her, resting its head on her knee. "I wonder where you came from," Nova mused aloud, looking around for any signs of the dog's owner. But there was no one in sight who seemed to be searching for a lost pet.
