Nyra was busy playing with her dolls when her father walked in, a warm smile on his face. Her father knelt beside her, eyes twinkling. "I have a surprise for you, Nyra," he announced. Nyra's eyes widened with curiosity. "What is it, Daddy?"
Nyra's mother was unpacking as Nyra ran around the garden, her laughter echoing in the air. "We're going on vacation!" Nyra jumped with joy, "That's amazing!" The family arrived at their vacation home, nestled among the hills, ready to relax and enjoy their time together.
Nyra and her family were peacefully asleep when a sudden thud startled them awake. "What was that sound, Daddy? Mummy, I'm scared," Nyra whispered, clutching her blanket. Her mother soothed her, "We shouldn't be scared. Let's check what's going on."
Nyra's father grabbed a hockey stick, while her mother armed herself with a glass bottle. Nyra picked up her tennis racket, her heart pounding but determined not to be afraid. "We won't do anything. Just leave everything and go," Nyra tried to reason with the shadowy figure.
Nyra stood her ground, her resolve unshakeable. In unison, her father, mother, and Nyra moved forward, brandishing their makeshift weapons. The thief, realizing his mistake, scrambled back through the window, disappearing into the night.
Her father and mother hugged Nyra, their pride evident. "Well done, darling," her mother praised. "If you're brave and use your presence of mind, you can do anything," her father added, smiling at Nyra with admiration.
