Anish sat cross-legged on the verandah, his eyes wide with curiosity as he listened to Dada Ji's soothing voice. The old man's words about the purity of heart in worship resonated deeply with him.
"How do we bring purity to our hearts, Dada Ji?"
Dada Ji, with his serene smile, leaned forward and gently took Anish's hand. "By speaking the truth, helping others, and ensuring no harm comes to them," he explained, his eyes twinkling with wisdom.
Anish nodded, feeling a warm resolve settle in his heart.
Anish decided to act on Dada Ji's advice. He noticed an elderly neighbor struggling with a heavy basket and rushed to help, his small hands steadying the load. "Let me help you, Aunty," he offered with a bright smile.
It was here he met a stray dog, its fur matted but eyes hopeful. Anish knelt down, offering a piece of leftover bread. The dog wagged its tail, a silent bond forming between them. "We'll be friends now," Anish whispered, feeling a sense of joy and fulfillment.
Anish realized that his heart felt lighter, a serene satisfaction enveloping him. He understood that true devotion to Shiv Ji was not just in rituals but in the love and kindness he spread.
"I feel closer to Shiv Ji now, Dada Ji," Anish confessed, his eyes shining with newfound understanding.
Dada Ji chuckled softly, patting Anish's back. "That's because you have found the true path of devotion, my child," he replied, proud of his grandson's journey.
