Pete the Cat steps out of his cozy home, tail swishing with excitement. His brand new white shoes gleam in the morning light, making him feel extra cool. With each step, he hums a happy tune, paws tapping rhythmically on the pavement.
"I love my white shoes! I love my white shoes!"
Pete the Cat strolls confidently, not noticing a puddle of squished strawberries ahead. Suddenly, his white shoes squish into the juicy mess, splattering red across the canvas.
"Oh no! My shoes are red!"
Pete pauses, then shrugs and smiles. He keeps walking, singing just a little louder.
Pete skips along, enjoying the sights, until—splat!—he steps into a mound of blueberries. His shoes turn a bold, vibrant blue.
"Oh no! My shoes are blue!"
Unfazed, Pete laughs and dances, kicking up bursts of blue dust with every move.
Pete leaps over a puddle but lands right in the middle of another. Thick brown mud coats his shoes, hiding all traces of red and blue.
"Oh no! My shoes are brown!"
Pete looks at his shoes, then at the sky, and just keeps singing.
Pete wiggles his toes, admiring the mess of colors. Children gather around, laughing at his kaleidoscopic shoes.
"No matter what color my shoes are, I keep movin’ and groovin’ and singing my song!"
Pete leads a parade of giggling children, singing his favorite tune. The world feels brighter, and Pete’s joy fills the air.
"Because it’s all good!"
