In the cozy nursery, the morning sun danced across the floor, creating playful patterns. A small blue potty sat proudly in the corner, its bright color inviting and friendly. Tommy, a curious toddler with curly hair and bright eyes, was exploring his toys, occasionally glancing over at the potty, intrigued but uncertain. His mother, Mrs. Johnson, watched him with a warm smile, ready to help him with this new adventure. "Are you ready to try the potty, Tommy?" she asked encouragingly.
Mrs. Johnson knelt down beside Tommy, holding a picture book that was full of colorful drawings. The book told the story of a little bear learning to use the potty, just like Tommy was about to. "Look, Tommy, even Bear uses the potty!" she said, pointing at the pictures. Tommy giggled, his interest piqued by the friendly bear. He reached out to turn the page, eager to see what happened next.
After finishing the story, Mrs. Johnson gently encouraged Tommy to try the potty for himself. With a little nudge, he toddled over, his small feet padding softly on the carpet. He stood before the potty, examining it closely, as if it were a new toy. Mrs. Johnson stayed by his side, offering reassurance. "You can do it, Tommy. Just like Bear," she said softly.
With a deep breath, Tommy decided to give it a try. He sat down carefully, his little face a mix of concentration and determination. Moments later, a look of surprise and then joy spread across his face. "You did it, Tommy!" exclaimed Mrs. Johnson, clapping her hands with delight. Tommy giggled, proud of his achievement, and the room seemed to glow with his newfound confidence.
Mrs. Johnson reached into a drawer and pulled out a sheet of stickers, each one featuring a different cheerful character. Tommy picked a shiny star sticker and placed it on his shirt, beaming with pride. "You're a big boy now, Tommy," Mrs. Johnson said, wrapping him in a warm hug. The room filled with laughter, and even the birds outside seemed to join in the celebration with their happy chirping.
As the day drew to a close, Tommy waved goodbye to his potty, already looking forward to more adventures with it tomorrow. The sky outside turned a soft orange and pink, painting a beautiful end to his successful day. Mrs. Johnson tucked him into bed, whispering how proud she was. Tommy drifted off to sleep with dreams of more exciting days, his little hand clutching the star sticker proudly on his shirt.
