Rajah, a cautious young tiger with golden stripes, crouches beside the bank, his emerald eyes fixed on a fluttering butterfly. Daisy, a lively duck with shimmering green feathers, waddles over and splashes playfully in the cool water.
"Come on, Rajah! Let’s race to the big rock and back!"
"You know I can’t swim like you, Daisy," he replies, but his voice is warm, and his tail flicks with excitement.
Daisy gazes beyond their familiar playground, her eyes alight with wonder as she watches a flock of colorful parrots soar toward the horizon.
"Rajah, have you ever wondered what’s out there? Past the jungle?"
Rajah hesitates, his paws kneading the earth.
"It’s scary out there," he admits softly, glancing back at the safety of their riverbank.
Daisy[/@ch_2] prepares to leave with a determined glint in her eye.]
Daisy flaps her wings and looks back at Rajah, who sits solemnly by the water’s edge.
"I’ll be back soon, Rajah. Wait for me, and I’ll tell you all about my adventure,"
"Be careful, Daisy," he calls, his voice trembling as he waves a paw in farewell.
Daisy meets a wise old tortoise who tells stories, helps a lost squirrel find its way, and marvels at the thundering waterfall that glows with rainbows.
"There’s so much to see, but I miss Rajah," she confides to the tortoise as stars begin to twinkle overhead.
Rajah[/@ch_1], who sits alone, tracing lazy circles in the sand with his tail.]
"The river isn’t the same without Daisy," he murmurs to himself, listening for her cheerful quack among the nighttime chorus. Each day feels longer, and each game less joyful without his friend.
Daisy[/@ch_2] bursts through the tall grass, feathers ruffled from travel but eyes shining with happiness.]
Rajah leaps up, his heart pounding as he races to meet her. They tumble together in a flurry of wings and paws, laughing and sharing stories.
"You wouldn’t believe the waterfall I saw! And the tortoise who knew every secret path,"
"I missed you, Daisy. Next time, let’s go together,"
"There’s a whole world waiting for us, Rajah,"
"And it’s better when we explore it together," he replies, their friendship stronger than ever as they dream of adventures yet to come.
