Raisha hummed softly as she prepared a simple Suhoor meal, her hands deftly arranging the food with care. Afi, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes, sat at the table, a hint of excitement on his face. "Will fasting be difficult today, sister?" Raisha smiled, her eyes filled with warmth. "Every fast is a journey, little brother. But we walk it together, and that makes it easier."
Afi lay sprawled on the ground, his stomach growling softly. Raisha sat beside him, a book of stories open in her lap. "I'm hungry, Raisha," he murmured, a tinge of impatience in his voice. Raisha nodded, turning a page. "Hunger is part of the test, Afi. But remember, it's also a time to reflect and be grateful for what we have."
Raisha busied herself with final preparations, her movements quick and practiced. Afi bounced excitedly on his chair, eyes wide with anticipation. "I can't wait to eat!" Raisha chuckled softly, setting down a jug of cool water. "Patience, Afi. The reward is sweeter when we've earned it."
Raisha handed Afi a date, her smile gentle and reassuring. Afi took it eagerly, savoring the sweet taste. "It's like a little piece of paradise," he declared, his eyes sparkling with delight. "Indeed it is, Afi. And every fast brings us closer to understanding what truly matters," replied Raisha.
Raisha looked over at Afi, her expression thoughtful. "What did you learn today, little brother?" Afi pondered for a moment, then smiled. "That patience and gratitude make the day brighter. And sharing it with you makes it even better." Raisha nodded, her heart full. "Then today has been a success, Afi. Let's continue this journey together."
