Tigger bounced energetically, tail springing with excitement as he waved his report card in the air.
Pooh ambled over, his face beaming with delight, holding his own envelope close.
Cat and Dog clustered nearby, each eager to see their grades.
Flicker peered over his report card, his eyes bright, while Connor lingered just behind the group, his expression unreadable.
"Look, everyone! I got an A in Math!"
"Oh, bother, I got an A in Lunch. That’s my favorite subject,"
"I did great in Reading—an A! What about you, Dog?"
"Recess is my specialty. Got an A there,"
"Check it out! I got A’s in both Math and Reading,"
"Hey, Connor, what grade did you get?"
Connor[/@ch_6]’s envelope, which he clutches tightly, hesitating. The air seems heavy as all eyes turn toward him, curiosity and concern mixing on their faces.]
Connor glances at his report card, his brows furrowing as he reads the big, red F.
"Connor? What's wrong?"
"Oh... I’m fine. Nothing’s wrong. Really,"
Tigger shrugs, bouncing away, but a flicker of worry lingers in his eyes as the group starts to head home.
Pooh glances at everyone’s report cards again, his smile widening.
"Well done, everyone! I’m so proud of you,"
Kwazii pops in, his pirate hat askew, grinning.
"How about a snack to celebrate these A's?"
"Great idea, Kwazii! I’ll go check what’s on TV,"
Cat[/@ch_3] lounges on the couch. A small, crumpled note peeks from beneath the coffee table leg, nearly hidden among scattered crayons.]
Cat bends down, curiosity piqued, and picks up the note.
"Hey, what’s this?"
Kwazii pokes his head in from the kitchen, ears perked.
"Find something interesting, Cat?"
"It’s a note from the Disney Junior School... Oh no,"
Tigger bounces back into the room, his eyes wide.
"Cat, what does the note say?"
"It says that Connor failed Science. He got an F,"
The room falls silent as the truth sinks in. The friends exchange surprised glances.
Connor[/@ch_6], who stands quietly by the fridge.]
"Connor... did you really fail Science?"
"Yes, I did. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you all. I was just embarrassed,"
Pooh gives a gentle, understanding smile.
"It’s okay, Connor. We all make mistakes, but telling the truth is always best,"
"We’re your friends, no matter what grade you get,"
"Next time, if you need help, just ask! We can study together,"
Connor looks up, relief shining in his eyes as his friends gather close.
"Thank you, everyone. I feel much better now,"
"That’s what friends are for!"
"Let’s always help each other, no matter what,"
The Disney Junior Club cheers, stronger together and ready for any challenge the next school day might bring.
