Sameena watched from the doorway as Sabahat, her eldest daughter, hopped out of bed with a cheerful smile. "Good morning, sweetheart," Sameena greeted, her voice warm and filled with affection. Sabahat replied with a bright, "Good morning, Mummy!" before heading to the bathroom to brush her teeth and take a bath. Sabahat always got ready for school all by herself.
Nani placed a plate of warm aloo parathas and eggs as Sabahat and her younger sister Sidrahsat down to eat. "What did you make today, Nani?" Sabahat asked eagerly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Your favorite," Nani replied. Sameena smiled watching as Sabahat eagerly started eating.
Sabahat slung her backpack over her shoulder, ready for another day of learning. Sameena kissed her on the forehead and whispered, "Have a great day at school, my little doctor." Sabahat beamed, "I will, Mummy!" as she waved goodbye, stepping onto Nana’s scooter as they rode off.
Sameena picked Sabahat from her school, Sabahat and Sidrah ran around the garden, their laughter echoing in the afternoon air. Sabahat stopped to teach Sidrah how to catch a ball, her patience and kindness evident. She was such a good elder sister "Just like this, Sidrah," she demonstrated, her little sister watching intently.
Nana, Nani, Mamu, baby brother Yusuf and Mami joined Sameena, Sabahat, and Sidrah for an evening filled with stories that happened at schoo. "Sabahat, you are truly a star," Mamu said, pride shining in his eyes. Sabahat blushed, feeling the love and warmth of her family enveloping her.
Sameena tucked Sidrah into bed before turning to Sabahat, who was already nestled under her covers. "Goodnight, my baby, you are mummy’s pride and every passing day you give me more reasons to love you. Allah has truly blessed me. Sameena whispered, brushing a stray hair from Sabahat's forehead. " I love you so much, mummy. You take such good care of me. Goodnight, Mummy," Sabahat replied, her eyes closing as dreams of future adventures began to unfold.
