Sammy, a sprightly squirrel with a bushy tail, scampered across the garden, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He paused at the bird feeder, overflowing with seeds of every kind. "Such a feast for me to eat, this birdseed looks like quite a treat!" he chattered to himself before diving in, scattering seeds everywhere.
Robbie fluffed his feathers, his bright red breast puffed with indignation. "This greedy squirrel, he's taken it all! We've not a seed left, not even small!" Around him, the other birds chirped in agreement, their songs tinged with dismay.
Robbie fluttered closer, determined to speak up. "Sammy, we need to talk, you see. This birdseed here, it's meant for me and my friends," he said with a gentle yet firm tone. Sammy paused, seeds clinging to his whiskers, looking a bit sheepish.
"I didn't think, I just took it all. I see now, my mistake was tall," Sammy admitted, his voice soft with realization. The birds watched him, hopeful for a change in his heart.
"From now on, I'll share with you, seeds enough for all, not just a few," Sammy declared, his eyes shining with newfound kindness. The birds chirped with joy, and together, they enjoyed the seeds, a harmony restored.
Robbie perched next to Sammy, both content with the day's events. "Sharing brings us all delight, a lesson learned in the fading light," Robbie sang, and all the birds joined in, their melody a sweet reminder that in sharing, everyone finds joy.
