Maple, a determined 6-year-old with long blonde hair and bright green eyes, stands on tiptoes at the counter, peering outside. Her little sister, Meadow, age 4, giggles beside her, her blonde braided pigtails bouncing as she arranges napkins.
"Meadow, do you think anyone will come for ice cream today? The ocean looks so pretty!"
"I hope so, Maple! Let’s make the best sundaes ever!"
Coral the Crab, red and quick, hops onto the counter, eyes wide.
"Girls, the tide is rising and the dock is flooded! If we don't fix it, the shop will close and there won't be any ice cream for anyone!"
Maple grabs Meadow’s hand, her green eyes shining with resolve.
Maple kneels beside a wise old turtle, Tidekeeper Toby, who offers advice.
"Maple, Meadow, if you gather driftwood and shells, we can build a new dock! The dolphins will help you carry it, and the starfish will patch the holes."
"We can do it, Maple! Let’s make a sea team!"
Maple hammers driftwood with a shell, while Meadow hands out scoops of ice cream as fuel for the helpers.
"Thank you so much, everyone! The shop will be saved and we’ll celebrate with a huge sundae party!"
The dolphins laugh, splashing in approval.
Meadow twirls, her pigtails flying, while Maple beams with pride.
"Best ice cream day ever! Thank you, everyone—our shop is safe because we worked together!"
Toby the turtle leads a cheer, and the waves sparkle with joy.
Maple sighs contentedly, squeezing Meadow's hand.
"We saved our shop, Meadow. And we made so many new friends. I can’t wait for more sea adventures."
"Me too, Maple. Tomorrow, let’s make ocean swirl cones for everyone!"
