Ella stood in her grandmother's cozy kitchen, watching eagerly as her Grandma stirred a big pot of maja blanca. The creamy dessert, made from coconut milk, corn, and sugar, filled the room with its sweet and inviting scent. "Wow, this looks so yummy! I want to eat it all!" Ella exclaimed, her eyes wide with delight.
Ella felt a pang of guilt as she realized the dessert was too much for her alone. "I can't eat it all by myself. I should share," she thought, recalling her three friends. "But how can we divide it so that each one of us gets an equal share? Hmmm, I better go and ask them," she decided, determined to find a solution.
Ella made her way through the village, carrying the pot of maja blanca, eager to find her friends. Spotting Mia, Kiko, and Maki gathered under the big acacia tree, she called out, "Look! I brought some maja blanca for us to share!" Her friends' faces lit up with excitement at the prospect of the treat.
Mia clapped her hands, "Yay! I love maja blanca!" Kiko and Maki nodded eagerly. "Let's slice it equally so everybody gets a share," suggested Kiko, and they all gathered around to divide the dessert, laughter and voices mingling in the air.
As they savored each creamy bite, the friends chatted and laughed, the simple act of sharing transforming the moment into a cherished memory. Mia beamed, "Thank you for sharing, Ella! It's so much fun to eat together," she said, her eyes sparkling with joy.
Ella walked back home, her heart warm with the fulfillment of having shared something special. She realized that sharing had not only brought happiness to her friends but had also enriched her own day. The lesson was clear: "It's better to share with friends than to keep everything to yourself," she thought, smiling at the memory of their laughter.
