Shilohbella stood at the rail, her long brown hair catching the wind and her big brown eyes sparkling with anticipation. She clung to her mom’s hand, gazing out at the endless horizon where the sky kissed the sea.
"How many places will we visit this time, Mama?"
Her mother smiled, squeezing her hand gently. "More than you can count, my little explorer,"
Shilohbella dashed in, waving at her friends from around the world. She gathered them around a table piled with seashell puzzles, her cheeks flushed with excitement.
"Let’s see who can build the tallest shell tower!"
Her friend Mia giggled, reaching for a shiny blue shell. "Bet I can beat you, Shilohbella!"
Shilohbella sat at the table, swinging her feet, eyes glued to her steaming plate of noodles. She grinned as the waiter sprinkled cheese and dabbed butter on top, the scent making her stomach rumble.
"This is the best dinner ever," she declared, twirling noodles around her fork and sharing giggles with her mom.
Shilohbella cradled a tiny spider monkey in her arms, its soft fur tickling her cheek. The monkey’s eyes were wide and curious, mirroring her own wonder.
"He’s so light! And his hands feel funny," she exclaimed, while a friendly guide snapped a photo.
Her mom knelt beside her, voice gentle. "You’re brave, Shilohbella. Not everyone would hold a monkey!"
Shilohbella crouched by the tide line, her fingers sifting through wet sand. She gasped as she found a piece of turquoise sea glass, holding it up to the light so it glowed like a gem.
"Look, Mama! This is the prettiest one yet," she called, beaming with pride.
Shilohbella snuggled close to her mom on a lounge chair, her heart full from the day’s adventures. She held her collection of shells and sea glass, each one a memory of laughter and discovery.
"I can’t wait for our next adventure," she whispered, eyes shining with dreams of all the places she had yet to see.
