Sing Ling sat on her grandmother's porch, her eyes fixed on the glowing horizon. Despite the beauty of the sunset, a chill ran down her spine as darkness crept closer. "I wish I wasn't so afraid of the dark," she whispered to herself.
Sing Ling's curiosity got the better of her, and she stepped cautiously towards the forest. Her heart pounded in her chest, each step echoing her fear. Suddenly, she heard a gentle voice, "Do not be afraid, child," and from behind a tree emerged a small, shimmering dragon.
The dragon family welcomed Sing Ling with warmth and kindness. "We see your courage," said the elder dragon, "and we wish to help you." Sing Ling felt a growing sense of comfort as she listened to their gentle voices.
Sing Ling watched in awe as the elder dragon turned the pages. "These herbs can heal many ailments," the dragon explained, "including your grandmother's illness." Hope sparked in Sing Ling's heart.
Sing Ling felt the night air invigorating as she followed the dragons. "Remember, the darkness is not to be feared," the elder dragon advised, "but embraced." Sing Ling nodded, feeling braver with each step.
Sing Ling gathered the herbs with care, her hands guided by the dragons' wisdom. "With these, your grandmother will be well," the dragons assured her. As the sun rose, Sing Ling realized that the darkness she once feared had led her to a place of light and love.
