"Guess what, Patrick? I'm going to save up for a new Krusty Krab grill!" SpongeBob exclaimed, holding up a shiny budget book with enthusiasm. Patrick, with his usual delightful bewilderment, scratched his head.
"A budget? What's that, SpongeBob?" asked Patrick, his eyes wide with curiosity.
SpongeBob explained with a grin, "I want to save $100 for the grill. It's easy, Patrick! I'll make a budget and stick to it."
Patrick, ever supportive, nodded eagerly. "I can't wait to see how you do it!"
"A budget is a plan for my money," SpongeBob explained, pointing to his list. "I write down what I earn and what I save each month."
Patrick, holding a piece of chalk, added a star to the board, "I can see why it's important!"
"I make $20 every week here at the Krusty Krab," SpongeBob shared with pride as he noted the amount on his budget sheet.
Patrick, standing by, clapped his hands excitedly, "That's a lot of jellyfishing nets!"
"I have to pay for jellyfishing nets, my house rent, and Krabby Patty supplies," SpongeBob calculated, jotting down each expense carefully.
Patrick peered over his shoulder, "That's a lot to think about, but I know you can do it!"
"I save $10 each week," SpongeBob explained, showing Patrick how he prioritized savings.
Patrick nodded sagely, "Pay yourself first—got it!"
"I bought too many jellyfishing nets," SpongeBob sighed, erasing and adjusting his budget on the paper.
Patrick offered a sympathetic pat, "You'll figure it out, SpongeBob. You're great at this!"
SpongeBob beamed, "I did it, Patrick! I saved $100!" he cheered, flipping a perfect patty as Patrick danced with joy.
"Grilling time!" Patrick exclaimed, lifting a spatula high.
