Dora, the brave explorer with her signature pink shirt and backpack, and Boots, her loyal monkey friend in red boots, hike along a winding path lined with glowing mushrooms.
Suddenly, a translucent ghost with glowing white eyes and tattered sheets emerges from behind a gnarled tree, moaning eerily.
"Oh no, Boots! Look out—it's a ghost! We gotta run for our lives!" screams Dora in her lively African American voice, full of panic and urgency.
"Ahhh! Ghost! Dora, it's chasin' us—run, run, run as fast as we can before it catches us!" yells Boots, his voice high-pitched and trembling with fear as they sprint through the underbrush, branches snapping underfoot.
Dora and Boots burst into the clearing, panting heavily, their faces flushed with terror.
They spot Geo from Team Umizoomi, the tiny math wizard with his orange-striped shirt and Umi-tool, tinkering with glowing shape blocks by the fire, alongside his robot buddy.
"Geo! Geo! You won't believe it—we saw a real spooky ghost in the woods! It had big glowy eyes and was moanin' all scary-like, chasin' us through the trees!" explains Dora breathlessly.
"Yeah, it was super creepy, floatin' right at us! We ran so fast, but it's still out there—help us, please!" adds Boots, clutching his tail nervously.
Geo jumps up, his eyes widening with determination, as his sister Milli, with her pink hair bows and pattern powers, and Bot, the cheerful robot with screen face, join him.
"Don't worry, Dora and Boots! Team Umizoomi is on the case. We'll use our math and shapes to scare that ghost away—just like Mr. Owl and Bubble Puppy did on Halloween!" declares Geo confidently.
They huddle together, pulling out white sheets from their Umi-packs, transforming into ghost costumes with floppy arms and boo faces, reminiscent of the fun scares on past Halloween nights when Mr. Owl and Bubble Puppy spooked the Bubble Guppies and Franklin the Turtle and his friends.
Dora, Boots, and the Umizoomi team creep forward in their ghost costumes, sheets billowing like spectral winds, giggling quietly with excitement.
The spooky ghost reappears, hovering menacingly with a wicked grin, ready to pounce again.
"Boo! We're the scariest ghosts in the forest—take that, spooky intruder! We've got patterns, shapes, and numbers on our side to make you flee!" shouts Geo as they all wave their arms wildly.
"Yeah, go away, ghost! This is our adventure spot now!" chimes in Dora, her voice bold and triumphant.
The ghost's eyes bulge in shock at the sight of the costumed crew charging with ghostly wails and Umi-powered shape shields flashing bright colors.
It lets out a terrified shriek, spinning in circles before bolting away through the trees.
"Haha, look at it run! It's screamin' for its life just like we were—our ghost plan worked perfectly!" laughs Boots, jumping with joy.
"Math magic and Halloween memories saved the day—Umi-yay!" cheers Milli as high-fives go around.
The frightened ghost dashes into a hidden hollow, trembling as it encounters Mommy Ghost, a larger spectral figure with a flowing veil and kind but firm glow.
"Mommy! These kid ghosts in costumes scared me so bad—they came at me with sheets and shapes, yellin' boo super loud! I ran all the way home!" wails the ghost.
Mommy Ghost sighs, patting its head gently before floating out to check, but decides it's best to stay put.
Dora pumps her fist in victory, the group gathered around the now-cheerful fire.
"Yay! We did it, everyone—the ghost is gone for good! That was the best adventure ever." exclaims Dora.
Later, at home under a bright morning sun with colorful flowers blooming outside, Dora rushes to her Mom, a warm woman in a yellow dress.
"Mom, you shoulda seen it—we met a spooky ghost, got help from Geo and Umizoomi, dressed as ghosts ourselves like on Halloween, and scared it right back to its mommy!" recounts Dora excitedly.
