Mummy Hannah sat on the plush sofa, drawing her children, Esther and Nziza, close as they nestled against her with eager anticipation. "Today, my loves, we're going to talk about something very important," she began, her voice soothing yet firm.
Mummy Hannah pointed to a picture of a child meeting a stranger. "Once, there was a little boy who met someone he didn't know at the park," she narrated. "What did he do, Mummy?" Esther asked, her voice filled with intrigue. "Well," Mummy Hannah continued, "he remembered what his parents taught him—to stay vigilant and seek help if he felt uncomfortable."
"When I was your age, I had an encounter that taught me the importance of being cautious," she revealed. Nziza looked up, her eyes wide with wonder. "What happened, Mummy?" she inquired eagerly. Mummy Hannah smiled gently, "A stranger approached me, but I remembered to stay calm and find a trusted adult. It’s important to trust your instincts, my dears."
Esther nodded thoughtfully, "So, we should always tell someone we trust if we feel uneasy?" Mummy Hannah nodded, her eyes full of love and reassurance. "Yes, exactly. And never go anywhere with someone you don’t know, even if they seem nice," she advised.
Nziza chimed in, "And if we’re not sure, we should ask you or Daddy, right?" Mummy Hannah beamed with pride, "Absolutely, sweetheart. We’re always here to help and keep you safe."
Mummy Hannah"Remember, my loves, being aware and careful doesn't mean being scared. It’s about being smart and safe,"she concluded. Esther and Nziza nodded, their faces alight with understanding and newfound wisdom. Together, they shared a warm embrace, the love and trust between them a comforting shield against the unknown.
