A group of kids skip into the playground, their laughter echoing under the blue sky. They carry colorful books and wear hats painted with stars and stripes. The sun sparkles on their shoes as they form a circle by the sandbox, eager for a new rhyme.
One child, holding a red book, stands up and grins. Sammy the Song Leader, with curly hair and a big smile, raises his hand. "Let’s sing the rhyme about the bouncing ball!" The others clap their hands, ready to follow along.
Sammy begins, "Bounce, bounce, bounce the ball, Up so high, then let it fall! Roll it fast, roll it slow, Watch it spin and watch it go!" The children repeat after him, their voices rising and falling with each line.
Lila the Listener, wearing a purple dress and a flower crown, shouts, "Catch it, Sammy! Don’t let it get away!" Sammy catches the ball and tosses it to Max the Mighty, who laughs and bounces it high. The rhyme continues, growing faster and funnier.
"Let’s pretend the ball is a rainbow gem from a faraway land!" The kids invent a new verse, singing about the magic gem, its colors, and how it grants wishes. Their imaginations soar as they dance and clap around the ball.
"Next time, we’ll rhyme about the stars!" Sammy promises, waving goodbye. The playground grows quiet, but the echo of rhymes and laughter lingers in the air, promising more fun on another sunny day.
