Sunny the Squirrel loved finding treasures in the forest. Today, Sunny had found the most beautiful apple in the world. The apple gleamed in the morning light, and Sunny felt so proud to have it all to himself.
Benny the Bunny hops over with a big smile, noticing the apple in Sunny’s paws.
"Wow, that apple looks delicious, Sunny! May I have a taste?"
Sunny hugs the apple closer, unsure if he wants to share.
Tilly the Turtle stretches her neck and asks,
"Sharing is fun. Will you share with us, Sunny?"
Sunny looks at the shiny apple, torn between keeping it and making his friends happy.
Sunny thinks about how much fun he had with his friends.
"Maybe sharing will make me even happier," Sunny wonders, feeling a little braver.
Sunny offers each friend a piece and keeps one for himself.
"Let’s eat together!"
Pip the Bird flutters with excitement,
"Thank you, Sunny! This is the best apple ever!"
Sunny feels a warm glow inside, happier than ever before.
"Sharing made my day so much brighter," Sunny says.
All the friends agree, knowing that sharing brings more joy than keeping things to themselves.
