Tommy stood on the beach, his surfboard tucked under his arm. He loved the ocean and the thrill of surfing, but the sight of big waves always made his heart race.
Tommy watched the bigger waves with a mix of fear and excitement. "One day, I'll ride those waves," he said to himself, clenching his fists with determination.
Tommy paddled out to catch the smaller waves, honing his skills. Each time he rode a wave, his confidence grew. Coach Ben, a friendly and encouraging mentor, watched from the beach. "You're doing great, Tommy! Keep it up!"
Tommy sat on the sand, gazing at the powerful waves. Coach Ben joined him, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "You'll be ready for the big waves soon, Tommy. Just believe in yourself," he said warmly.
Tommy took a deep breath, his heart pounding with excitement. This was it—his chance to conquer his fear. With a determined nod, he paddled out, feeling the rush of the water beneath him. "I can do this," he whispered, catching his first big wave.
Tommy emerged from the water, grinning from ear to ear. Coach Ben greeted him with a proud smile. "You did it, Tommy! You rode the big waves!" Tommy beamed, feeling a newfound bravery and joy. "I can't wait to do it again!" he laughed, looking forward to more adventures on the waves.
