Swiper the Fox dashes between gnarled trees, his orange tail streaming behind him as he glances nervously over his shoulder.
"Oh man, oh man! That ghost was real! I gotta get outta here!"
Leaves crunch beneath his paws as he races toward the edge of the woods, his heart pounding with fear.
Geo Umizoomi, a small, blue-suited hero with geometric gadgets, is tinkering with a strange device near the swings.
"Geo, help! I saw a ghost, a real ghost, back there in the forest!"
"Whoa, Swiper! Slow down, tell me what happened. Where did you see this ghost?"
"It was floating by the old log, making creepy noises and glowing bright white! I’ve never been so scared!"
"Don’t worry, Swiper. We'll solve this mystery together. Let’s retrace your steps,"
"I think it was right over there, near that big tree stump,"
The two approach cautiously, Geo scanning the area with his gadget, alert for any sign of the ghost.
"There it is! That’s the ghost!"
"Hang on, Swiper. Let me get a closer look,"
Geo inches forward, squinting at the ghost, his gadget beeping rapidly.
Boots the Monkey[/@ch_3], holding a white sheet and a flashlight, looking sheepish.]
Boots the Monkey, a playful friend with bright red boots, stands revealed, his grin apologetic.
"Sorry, Swiper! I just wanted to play a spooky joke. I didn’t mean to scare you so much,"
"Boots! Oh, I thought you were a real ghost! You got me good,"
"Next time, Boots, maybe keep the scares for Halloween,"
"Thanks for helping me, Geo. I don’t think I’ll be scared of any ghosts for a while,"
"Anytime, Swiper. And remember, sometimes the scariest things are just our friends in disguise,"
"I promise, no more ghost tricks—at least until next Halloween,"
The friends watch fireflies dance through the darkness, their laughter echoing into the night.
