Benny, a slightly scruffy but cheerful teddy bear with a patched left ear, sits among friends, his tiny paws folded on his lap. All around him, bears swap stories, laughter rippling through the crowd.
"Alright, everyone, gather 'round—I've got a tale that's almost too silly to admit,"
"So there I was, tucked into a backpack, ready for a picnic adventure. But when the family packed up and left, I was forgotten among the ferns—alone in the woods. I panicked! I saw a real bear stroll by and thought, 'Well, maybe he can help.' Dumbest mistake I ever made."
Chuckle and gasps echo as Benny pantomimes his nervous approach, eyes wide. The convention crowd leans closer, enthralled.
"I marched right up and said, 'Excuse me, sir, can you help me find my way home?' The real bear just stared, sniffed me, and ambled off, not a word spoken! I spent the next hour talking to squirrels before the family finally found me,"
Laughter bursts out, some bears shaking their heads at Benny’s earnest recounting.

"Well, Benny, if you think that’s a rough day, let me tell you about the time my kid grew up and decided I was too old for her. One morning, she tossed me in the trash can. The lid slammed shut, and I was surrounded by banana peels and old homework sheets. I thought it was the end."
The crowd hushes, horrified, some bears clutching their paws to their chests.
"It was scary and sad, but I found a new friend—a little boy who needed me even more. Still, that moment in the trash... I wouldn’t wish it on any bear,"
Soft murmurs ripple through the audience, some bears wiping imaginary tears from their button eyes.
"I guess we’ve all been through a lot—woods, trash cans, and everything in between. But here we are, together, telling our stories,"
"As long as we have each other, there’s always hope for a happy ending,"
