She-Hulk stood among the crowd, her towering presence impossible to miss. Her gaze was fixed on the majestic lion lounging lazily in the enclosure. As she observed the scene, her attention was drawn to a small boy, around twelve years old, struggling to catch a glimpse of the king of the jungle through the sea of people.
"Hey there, do you want a better view?" she asked kindly, smiling down at him.
The boy nodded eagerly, his eyes wide with excitement.
Timmy, the boy, She-Hulk learned, was a shy yet curious child with a mop of unruly hair and a fascination for all things animal and astrological.
"Up you go!" she said, effortlessly lifting him onto her shoulders.
From his new vantage point, Timmy could see everything. He giggled with delight as they passed the flamingos, their bright pink feathers shimmering in the sunlight. He began to share his love for animals and how his star sign, Leo, was the reason he loved visiting the zoo.
"I think lions are just the coolest! Like, they're brave and strong, just like you, Miss She-Hulk!"
"Well, thank you, Timmy! It's important to be brave, but it's also good to be kind," she replied with a grin.
"What's wrong, Timmy?" she inquired, sensing his unease.
"I can't find my parents. I lost sight of them," he admitted, his voice a mix of worry and hope.
She-Hulk nodded reassuringly.
"Don't worry. We'll find them together. Let's keep exploring, and I'm sure we'll spot them soon," she assured him.
She-Hulk spotted a pair of adults scanning the crowd, looking anxious and concerned. She approached them with Timmy still perched on her shoulders.
"Mom! Dad!" Timmy called out, waving his arms enthusiastically.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, turned in relief and rushed over.
"I found your son near the lion's den. He was having a hard time seeing, so I thought I'd give him a lift," explained She-Hulk.
"Thank you so much! It's been a challenge for him with all the crowds," Mrs. Johnson said gratefully.
She-Hulk lowered Timmy back to the ground, ruffling his hair gently.
"Remember, if you ever need help seeing over the crowd, just let me know," she winked.
Timmy beamed up at her, his newfound confidence shining through.
"I will, thank you, Miss She-Hulk!"
With heartfelt goodbyes, She-Hulk watched as the reunited family walked away, their laughter echoing softly, a testament to the day's unexpected adventure.
