In the meadow by the cave, laughter and cheer,
Green Snake with her friends, full of good cheer.
White Dog, Red Cat, and Blue Bird play,
Tossing a ruby in a carefree way.
The ruby soared high, a dazzling sight,
But Snake threw it with all her might.
Into the cave, it tumbled and rolled,
Leaving the friends feeling scared and cold.
Dog barked bravely, Cat nodded too,
Bird chirped courage, and in they flew.
Into the darkness, they ventured with care,
To find the gemstone and escape the scare.
A cavern vast, with treasures untold,
And a dragon asleep, atop the gold.
There lay the ruby, red as a flame,
The prize of their game, calling their name.
With bated breath, they crept so near,
The ruby's glow drawing them here.
Snake grasped it quick, but then they slipped,
Down the treasure mound, they tripped.
The dragon roared, with flames so bright,
Its eyes ablaze with furious light.
The friends dashed fast, out of the cave,
Escaping the wrath, so bold and brave.
Through the forest, they raced so fast,
Snake's home reached at last.
Safely inside, they slammed the door,
The dragon's roar heard no more.
With the ruby safe, they laughed and ate,
Celebrating their daring fate.
Cake was shared, and joy was found,
In the warmth of friendship, all around.
