Lily, her eyes wide with wonder, walked beside her goat friend Nibbles. "Look, Nibbles, the forest is even more beautiful today," she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.
Nibbles bleated happily, nodding his head as if to agree. His little bell jingled softly with each step, adding a cheerful melody to their adventure.
Lily paused to admire a patch of colorful mushrooms, their caps glistening with dew. "I've never seen mushrooms like these before," she mused, reaching out to touch one gently.
Nibbles snorted playfully, nudging Lily forward with his nose. "You're right, Nibbles, we should keep moving. Who knows what wonders await us ahead?"
Lily gasped in awe at the sight. "This place is incredible!" she whispered, watching the fairies weave patterns in the air.
One of the sprites, a mischievous little creature with twinkling eyes, flew closer. [@ch_3]Sprite[/@ch_3_d]"Welcome to our secret glen, travelers. But to stay, you must solve a riddle,"[/@ch_3_d] it chimed.
[@ch_3]Sprite[/@ch_3_d]"I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind. What am I?"[/@ch_3_d] it asked, a playful challenge in its voice.
Lily pondered for a moment, her brow furrowed in concentration. "An echo," she said finally, her voice filled with certainty.
The sprite clapped its hands in delight. [@ch_3]Sprite[/@ch_3_d]"Correct! You may enjoy the wonders of our glen,"[/@ch_3_d] it declared, and the magical creatures resumed their dance.
Lily twirled around with laughter, holding Nibbles's hoof as they spun to the rhythm of the forest's symphony. "Thank you, friends, for sharing your magic with us," she called out joyfully.
Nibbles bleated, his eyes twinkling with happiness. It was an adventure neither of them would forget.
Lily looked back at the glen, now hidden once more. "We'll come back, Nibbles. There's so much more to discover," she promised, squeezing his hoof gently.
Nibbles nodded, his bell jingling in agreement. Together, they stepped out of the Whispering Woods, ready for whatever adventures awaited them next.
