A stood at the front, eyes scanning the room. "Oh no! One of our letters is lost. We can't send out the alphabet without it!" The other letters, from B to Y, exchanged worried glances.
"I'll help find it," A declared confidently.
The letters marched out, determined to find Z. First, they stopped by the big apple tree. A peered around its trunk. "Could it be under the apple?"
B giggled, bouncing on the spot. "B loves to bounce and jump, but I don’t see it here."
C waved from the top of a castle-shaped slide. "No sign of it here!" D rode a dragon-shaped seesaw, shaking "Nothing on this side either."
E sat atop a gentle elephant statue, trunk raised in greeting. "I haven’t seen it," E sighed, swinging their legs.
M whispered nervously, "What’s going on? Where is it?" They passed F the frog hopping by a pond, and G the giraffe reaching for leafy branches.
H hung from a tree branch, watching the others. "Maybe it’s at the igloo!" I suggested, pointing to the snowy hill in the distance.
As the letters approached, they spotted a small figure on the doormat. It was Z!
"I’m so sorry," Z said, looking sheepish. "I was just so tired from all the zig-zagging I do. I got a little lost along the way, but now I’m ready to join the alphabet again!"
"Z! We found you!" everyone cheered. The letters danced joyfully, from A to Z, celebrating their reunion.
As the stars began to twinkle in the sky, the letters stood proudly, ready to be sent on their way, knowing they had solved the mystery of the lost letter Z.
