Meela the cow calf stood in the center, her big brown eyes sparkling as she looked at her friends. Around her, Bibi the baby goat bounced on nimble hooves, Lulu the kitten chased butterflies, and Lippi the lamb nibbled on clover. The rest—Nora the piglet, Justin the bunny, Dopey the puppy, Twisty the baby monkey, Leo the lion cub, Meklo the bear cub, Zibo the baby armadillo, Gigi the giraffe calf, Mabel the leopard cub, Amy the panda cub, Deena the mouse pup, Zeema the zebra foal, Bobo the wolf pup, Siku the sloth cub, Vuvu the baby anteater, and Bertie the tiger cub—gathered in a bustling circle.
"Everyone, listen! I heard there's a hidden waterfall at the edge of the forest. Wouldn't it be fun if we found it together?"
Bibi leaped onto a log, her eyes shining. "Let's make a plan! We should stick together and watch out for each other," she suggested, tail wagging.
Leo pawed at the earth, his little mane fluffed with excitement. "I'll lead the way! My nose is the best at finding new scents," he declared, causing Mabel and Bertie to giggle. Justin twitched his long ears, looking thoughtful. "If we get tired, we can always rest under the big willow tree," he added.
