Baxter, a fun little puppy with big floppy ears and a wagging tail, was playing in the park. Suddenly he spotted a bright red balloon dancing in the air. Baxters heart raced with excitement. He wanted to chase the balloon to see where it was going.
"Wait for me, balloon!" he barked happily, as he begins to chase after it, but his barks got lost in the joyful noise of the park. As the red balloon float higher Baxer ran across blankets and around picnic baskets, determined to catch that silly balloon. He could barely keep upth the red ballon
Suddenly Baxter stopped and looked around. Before he knew it all the colorful blankets and pinic baskets were gone. He looked up to see the alloon had floated away. He felt sad and a bit afraid because he could no longer see his owner.
Chipper, the squirrel, looked at Baxter as he slowly walk by with his fluffy ears low to the ground and said, "Oh no! Are you lost?" "Yes! I was chasing a balloon," Baxter replied. ''I can help!'' replied Chipper. ''I get lost all the time looking for nuts.'' Baxters tail begins wagging a little as he found a new friend. Baxter and Chipper playfully begin to retrace Baxters step. Soon Baxter sees a familiar face.
Baxter barked with joy and ran to his owner, who knelt down and hugged him tightly. "There you are, Baxter! I was so worried!" said his owner, smiling with relief.
Baxter snuggled close, feeling happy and safe. The day had been an adventure, but nothing felt better than being back with his owner.
