Ella skipped along the garden path, her dress fluttering like butterfly wings. Beside her, a playful hen named Peck clucked merrily, pecking at the ground. "Let's see what treasures we can find today, Peck!" Ella exclaimed, her voice full of delight.
Ella and Peck wandered through the garden, a sense of adventure guiding their steps. Suddenly, Peck stopped and began pecking at a patch of marigolds. Ella knelt down beside her friend, "What have you found, Peck?" Ella asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.
Ella's face lit up with joy as she gently picked up one of the eggs. "Oh, look at these lovely eggs, Peck!" she said, cradling it carefully. Peck, with a proud cluck, hopped closer to inspect the find. Ella laughed, "You are such a clever hen!"
Ella gathered the eggs in her apron and skipped towards her friends who had gathered near the garden gate. "Look what Peck and I found!" she called out, her voice ringing with excitement. The children gathered around, eyes gleaming with wonder as Ella shared the eggs with them. "Let's make something special together!" she suggested, her heart full of happiness.
The children, with Ella leading the way, decided to create a feast with the eggs. Ella and Peck watched as everyone cracked, stirred, and cooked with enthusiasm. "This is the best day ever," Ella said, as she hugged Peck. "Cluck, cluck," Peck replied, as if agreeing wholeheartedly.
As Ella and Peck waved goodbye to their friends, Ella looked at the garden, now a canvas of twilight shadows. "Thank you, Peck, for the wonderful adventure," Ella whispered, patting her feathered friend. Together, they headed home, dreaming of more adventures in the days to come.
