Lila, a little bunny with soft fur as white as a cloud, hopped excitedly through the forest, her eyes wide with wonder. She was eager to play, but her heart felt a bit jumpy, like a butterfly trapped in a jar. "Why do I feel so wiggly inside?" Lila wondered aloud.
Lila approached Shelby with curiosity. Shelby, with a shell as ancient as time itself, looked up with kind eyes. "Hello, Lila. I see you're full of energy today," Shelby said gently. "I feel all wiggly inside, and I don't know why," Lila replied.
Shelby smiled and suggested they try a calming technique. "Let's take deep breaths together, Lila. In through your nose, and out through your mouth," Shelby instructed. Lila closed her eyes and followed along, feeling the cool air fill her lungs and then gently leave.
Lila felt calmer but still a bit restless. Her friend Squeaky noticed her and bounded over. "Why don't we count acorns together, Lila? It's fun and relaxing!" Squeaky chirped. Together, they counted, "One, two, three...," and with each number, Lila felt her wiggly feelings ease.
Lila and Squeaky tried some playful yoga stretches, reaching for the sky like tall trees and bending like willowy branches. "This is fun! Look how stretchy I am," Lila giggled, feeling her body and mind relax with each stretch.
Lila lay on her back, gazing up at the stars, her heart now calm and steady. She felt grateful for her friends and the new ways she had learned to soothe her busy feelings. "Thank you, Shelby and Squeaky, for helping me find my calm," Lila whispered, drifting into a peaceful sleep.
