Spike wiggled his arms and sighed, "Oh dear, oh dear! I've got a spike stuck in my backside!"
Coco, the wise and gentle camel, wandered by, her hooves sinking gently into the sand. "What's the matter, Spike?" she asked with a kind smile.
"I've got a prickly problem," Spike replied, twisting awkwardly to show the offending spike.
Coco tilted her head thoughtfully. "Perhaps I can help you remove it," she suggested, her voice gentle as a whispering breeze.
"Oh, would you? That would be wonderful!" Spike exclaimed, his eyes brightening with hope.
Coco knelt beside him, her soft fur brushing against his spiky form. "Hold still now," she instructed.
Spike held his breath, his arms trembling slightly. Coco gently nudged the spike with her nimble nose. "Almost there," she murmured.
"Ouch! That tickles!" Spike giggled, his spikes rustling like leaves in a breeze.
Coco held up the spike triumphantly. "Got it!" she declared with a proud grin.
Spike wiggled joyfully, his spikes shimmering in the sunlight. "Thank you, Coco! I feel so much better!" he cheered.
"Let's celebrate our victory with a drink of cool water," Spike suggested, his voice full of gratitude.
Coco nodded, her eyes twinkling with delight. "A wonderful idea, Spike. To friendship and teamwork!"
They both drank deeply from the oasis, their laughter echoing in the tranquil desert air.
Spike glanced at Coco, his heart warm with appreciation. "I'm so lucky to have a friend like you, Coco," he said softly.
"And I, you," Coco replied, her voice like a gentle lullaby.
Together, they watched the stars dance across the night sky, content in each other's company.
