Wally the Wise Worm wriggled out from his cozy burrow, feeling the warmth of the morning sun on his body. His small, wise eyes scanned the garden, noticing something was amiss. The once lively plants looked droopy, and the vibrant veggies seemed sad.
Bella the Butterfly fluttered down beside him, her wings shimmering in the early light. Gary the Grasshopper hopped over, his antennae twitching with curiosity.
"Good morning, friends. Have you noticed the garden today?" Wally asked, concern in his voice.
"Yes, Wally. The flowers look so thirsty," Bella replied, her wings fluttering nervously.
"We need to find out what's wrong," Gary added, his determination clear.
Wally led the way, his segmented body inching along the soil. They paused at each plant, checking leaves and stems. The garden was usually a symphony of colors, but today, the greens were dull, and the petals were limp.
"It seems like they're not getting enough water," Wally observed, nudging a wilting daffodil.
"That makes sense. We've had so many sunny days but not much rain," Bella noted, landing gently on a sunflower.
"Then we must create a plan to help," Gary declared, his legs poised for action.
Wally scratched his head thoughtfully. Bella danced in the air, and Gary hopped to and fro, sharing ideas.
"What if we create a watering schedule?" Wally suggested, a spark of excitement in his eyes.
"Yes! We can take turns watering each section of the garden," Bella chimed in, her wings fluttering with approval.
"And make sure every plant gets enough sunshine too," Gary added, nodding enthusiastically.
Wally guided Gary to the hose, showing him how to gently water the plants. Bella flitted from flower to flower, ensuring each one received a share of the sunlight.
"This is fun, Wally!" Gary exclaimed, droplets glistening on his green body.
"The garden already looks happier," Bella observed, her wings shimmering in the sunlight.
Wally beamed at the sight of the now-thriving garden. The flowers stood tall, and the veggies were plump and colorful. His heart swelled with pride and gratitude for his friends.
"We did it, team! The garden is happy again," he said, his voice filled with joy.
"And we learned how important it is to take care of our plants," Bella added, settling on a blooming rose.
"I can't wait for our next adventure," Gary said, his eyes twinkling with anticipation.
