Ngoma the Elephant lifts his mighty trunk, trumpeting a call that echoes across the plains, stirring dust and drawing glances from every corner.
"All animals, gather under the sacred tree! We must find water before it's too late."
The chorus of Savannah Animals shuffle anxiously, tails flicking and ears drooping, as the heat presses down and the land thirsts for relief.
Shujaa the Lion paces at the center, mane glistening in the sunlight, his confidence radiating outwards.
"We are the strongest. If we put our heads together, water will be found in no time."
Kito the Giraffe leans down, eyes skeptical, scanning the crowd for solutions.
"Let’s not waste time listening to the little ones. What could they possibly do?"
Tiko the Mouse squeezes forward, barely visible among the towering legs and swishing tails, his tiny voice drowned out by booming declarations.
No solution emerges despite the blustering confidence, and hope flickers low in the hearts of the crowd.
Tiko the Mouse gathers his courage and hops onto a low branch, his squeaks rising above the bickering.
"Please, listen! I saw something strange by the old anthill… maybe it’s a clue!"
Ngoma the Elephant pauses, his wise eyes settling on the brave little mouse as the crowd quiets, a ripple of anticipation passing through the circle.
Tiko the Mouse[/@ch_4], trek to the old anthill. The earth here is softer, a patch of dampness standing out against the parched ground.]
Tiko scurries to the spot, nose twitching, and begins to dig furiously with tiny paws. Dirt flies, and suddenly, water seeps and pools, glistening in the fading sunlight.
Shujaa the Lion steps forward, the pride in his posture replaced by genuine humility.
"Today, the smallest among us saved us all. We will never doubt you again."
The chorus of Savannah Animals erupts in cheers, splashing and celebrating as hope and gratitude fill the air.
Ngoma sits with Tiko, both smiling as the others drink and play.
