Lily, a vibrant ten-year-old with paint-splattered overalls, sat cross-legged in the middle of the room, her face a canvas of concentration as she sketched. Her siblings, Ethan and Sophie, watched with a mix of admiration and curiosity.
"How do you come up with these ideas, Lily?" Ethan asked, eyes wide.
"I don't know," Lily replied, a playful smile on her lips. "I just see things differently, I guess."
Sophie picked a flower, examining its delicate petals. Ethan noticed how Lily was already setting up her easel to capture the scene.
"What do you see in a simple garden, Lily?" Sophie questioned, genuinely intrigued.
"Magic," Lily said, her eyes sparkling. "Every color speaks to me, every shadow tells a story."
Ethan turned to Lily, a thoughtful expression on his face. "I think I get it now," he said softly. "Art isn't just about painting. It's about seeing things in a new way."
Sophie nodded, her eyes reflecting the firelight. "Yeah, it's like you're always on an adventure," she added.
Lily lay on her bed, sketchbook in hand. Ethan and Sophie were on either side, watching her draw.
"Can you teach us, Lily?" Ethan asked, his voice full of hope.
"Of course," Lily replied, her heart full. "Art is for everyone. You just have to look with your heart."
Sophie proudly held up a painting she had finished, Ethan was working on a clay sculpture, and Lily was guiding them with gentle encouragement.
"See? You're both artists too," Lily said with a grin.
"Thanks to you, Lily," Sophie replied, her voice filled with gratitude.
Ethan leaned back, a content smile on his face. "I'm glad we have you, Lily. You've taught us to see the world in a whole new way."
Lily looked at her siblings, her heart full of love and pride. "And I'm glad I have you both to share it with," she said softly.
