Pablo, always eager for excitement, points toward the shadowy woods. The air is warm, filled with birdsong and the scent of pine. Nearby, Uniqua, Tyrone, Tasha, and Austin chatter about exploring the forest, their eyes bright with anticipation.
"Let’s see what secrets the forest holds today!"
"I bet there are butterflies and maybe even a treasure," Uniqua adds, smiling.
As the Backyardigans wander deeper, a cold wind rustles the leaves. Suddenly, a pale figure drifts between the trees, glowing faintly. The group freezes, wide-eyed, as the ghostly apparition lets out a wailing sound.
"Did you guys see that?!" Tyrone whispers, voice trembling.
"Run!" cries Tasha, and all five dash frantically through the underbrush, heartbeats pounding.
Geo, leader of Team Umizoomi, looks up as the Backyardigans stumble over, faces pale. Milli and Bot join him, concern etched on their faces.
"We saw a ghost! In the forest! It chased us!" Austin explains, voice quivering.
"Don’t worry. Team Umizoomi is here to help! Let’s figure out what’s going on," Geo assures them with a confident nod.

The air is tense as Team Umizoomi and the Backyardigans retrace their steps. Milli scans for clues with her pattern power, while Bot’s antenna flashes as he analyzes sounds. Footprints in the soft earth lead toward a cluster of ferns, and a scrap of white fabric hangs from a low branch.
"Look! This must belong to our ghost," Milli says, inspecting the fabric.
"Maybe it’s not a real ghost after all," Bot muses, his voice gentle.
It’s Sammy, the friendly neighbor, who had been playing a prank for Halloween. He laughs nervously, lowering his makeshift ghost costume. The relief on the Backyardigans’ faces is palpable, tension melting into giggles.
"Sorry! I didn’t mean to scare anyone. I just wanted to try out my costume," Sammy admits, blushing.
"Next time, maybe warn us first!" Uniqua teases, smiling wide.
Everyone feels safe and at ease, their earlier fear forgotten. Team Umizoomi and the Backyardigans talk about friendship, teamwork, and the importance of asking for help. The forest, once mysterious and frightening, now feels welcoming—a place for new adventures.
"I guess sometimes the scariest things are just someone in disguise," Tyrone says, grinning.
"And with friends, we can solve any mystery!" Geo agrees, raising his glass.
