Cleo the Crab scuttled excitedly along the shore, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Let’s explore the Hidden Cove! I heard there are shiny shells there!"
Sammy the Sea Turtle, calm and steady, emerged from the surf, a hint of concern in his voice. "That sounds fun, but what if the tide comes in too fast?"
Sunny the Seagull soared above, playful and loud, her wings catching the morning breeze. "Don’t worry, Sammy! I’ll fly up and watch for the waves."
"And I’ll find the safest path through the rocks. Let’s go!" Cleo exclaimed, her claws clicking with determination.
Sammy eyed the slippery rocks nervously. "These rocks are slippery. How will we get across?"
Sunny fluttered ahead, her sharp eyes scanning for a safe route. "I’ll fly ahead and see where it’s less slippery."
Cleo crawled close to the ground, her antennae twitching as she searched for secure spots. "I’ll crawl close to the ground and check for safe spots."
With teamwork, Sunny found a path with flat rocks, and Cleo led Sammy carefully across.
Cleo marveled at the sight. "Look! It’s so pretty, but the pool is too deep to cross."
Sunny swooped down, her eyes sparkling with an idea. "I’ll grab a piece of driftwood and drop it to make a bridge!"
Sammy, with his solid shell, nodded in agreement. "Good idea, Sunny! I’ll help hold it steady with my shell."
Together, they constructed a makeshift bridge and crossed safely to the other side.
Sunny cawed in delight. "We found it! Look at all these shiny shells!"
Cleo clicked her claws in excitement. "This is the best treasure ever!"
Sammy, a smile spreading across his face, expressed his gratitude. "I’m glad I came. You both helped me when I was scared."
Sunny nodded, her voice warm. "That’s what friends do! We make a great team."
[@ch_1, @ch_2, and @ch_3] laughed and shared stories, each selecting their favorite shells as mementos of their adventure. They promised to always go on adventures together, knowing they could count on each other.
