William lay in his bed, eyes wide open, dreaming of wide-open fields and the rumble of a tractor. "One day, I'll ride that tractor," he whispered to himself, imagining the freedom beyond the concrete jungle.
William stepped off the bus, his heart racing with excitement and a hint of nervousness. His grandfather, a big strong man with a kind smile and weathered hands, waved from the barn. "Welcome to the farm, William!"
William was so excited and when he saw the big red tractor at the side of the barn he jumped up and down. "Can I ride the tractor, Grandpa?" "All in good time, but there is someone you should meet first," said Grandpa.
Maggie introduced herself, her eyes sparkling with energy. "I'm Maggie. Let me show you the ropes," she said, leading William through the barn, sharing stories and laughter along the way.
With Maggie by his side, William learned to drive the tractor, his hands gripping the wheel with determination. "You're a natural!" Maggie cheered, her laughter echoing through the fields.
William sat with Maggie on the porch, watching the world around him transform. "I never knew life could be like this," he mused, feeling a sense of belonging he'd never felt in the city.
