The Little Chick, a small yellow fluffball with curious eyes and a cheerful spirit, stands at the edge of a wide road. He fluffs his feathers, shaking off a tiny feather that tickles his beak. Determined, he peeps confidently, his gaze fixed on the journey ahead.
"I'll cross that big road — it's not very steep!"
He wobbles forward with a skip and a hop, his wings fluttering for balance. Suddenly, a playful gust of wind sweeps through, causing him to wiggle and topple over, rolling like a soft yellow ball. Even as he tumbles, the determination in his bright eyes never fades.
"I won’t quit! I’ll try more today!"
The Little Chick lands right in the center of the puddle with a splish and a splat, sending water droplets flying. His downy feathers are soaked from beak to cap, but instead of frowning, he bursts into giggles and spins with delight.
"I’m messy, but smiling — I’m still gonna win!"
The Dog, startled, bounds toward the Little Chick with a wag of his tail and a playful yet loud growl. The Little Chick freezes, his heart racing, but quickly tiptoes around the dog, darting behind a bright green trash bin for safety. He catches his breath, peeking out with wide, grateful eyes.
The Little Chick flaps his tiny wings and hugs the ground, trembling as the car passes. He waits, gathering his courage, and when the road is clear, he bursts forth, darting and dancing like a leaf caught in the wind, light and quick.
He puffs out his chest, a sense of pride shimmering in his eyes. Lifting his beak to the sky, he sings a clear, sweet song that floats on the breeze.
"Hard things can be done — if you don't skip a beat!"
If you ever feel small or the road ahead seems too wide, remember the Little Chick and his brave heart. Take little steps, let your courage guide you, and face each challenge with a smile. Be strong, be brave, and keep marching ahead—just like he did.
