Milo Buttons loved asking big questions. With a backpack full of tools and a notebook brimming with doodles, he was always ready for adventure. Today, Milo gazed at the stream, pondering how to cross it to reach the mysterious garden on the other side.
"Why can't we just walk across the water? How do bridges work, anyway?"
Flicker the Frog was Milo’s funniest friend, always ready with a joke and a hop.
"Guess we’ll need wings or webbed feet, Milo! Or maybe a super-cool bridge!"
"But how do we build a bridge strong enough for us—and safe for everyone?"
Milo tests stacking stones, but they tumble with a splash, making Flicker giggle so hard he falls off a lily pad.
"Oops! Maybe stones aren’t the best plan,"
"Let’s think like engineers—bridges need to be strong, steady, and safe. What materials do we have?"
Tilly the Turtle, a gentle mentor, speaks slowly and smiles.
"Every good bridge needs a strong base, little engineers. What shapes do you see in strong bridges?"
Milo remembers seeing arches and triangles in bridge pictures and quickly sketches a new design.
"It’s steady! It’s springy! It’s safe! Milo, you’re a super engineer!"
"We did it together, Flicker! Triangles really are strong—who knew shapes could help us solve big problems?"
"Curiosity and creativity make the best engineers,"
"I can’t wait to build more wonders! I’m always ready for the next big question,"
The adventure ends with Milo and Flicker dreaming up new ideas, confidence sparkling in their eyes as the stream whispers with possibilities.
