Jasper, an adventurous boy with wide eyes and a shock of curly hair, tugs at the sleeve of his best friend, Maya, a bright, curious girl with glasses and a pocketful of candy.
"Look, Maya! The Bubblegum Balloon is finally here! Do you think it really floats as high as the clouds?"
"Only one way to find out! Let’s get tickets before the line gets too long,"
Ms. Poppy, the attendant, beams at them and hands over two golden tickets shaped like chewed bubblegum.
"Welcome aboard, adventurers! Hold on tight—this ride is extra sweet today,"
Jasper and Maya hop into the basket, their eyes shining with anticipation as the balloon begins to rise.
"It’s like we’re floating in a candy world! I can almost smell the bubblegum,"
"If I could, I’d pop a piece right now and blow a bubble as big as this balloon,"
Maya leans over the edge, pointing excitedly at a rainbow arching above a marshmallow mountain.
"Did you see that, Jasper? That looks like the legendary Bubblegum Castle! Maybe we can spot the Bubble King,"
"Let’s wave—maybe he’ll wave back!"
"Hold on, Maya! We have to work together to keep the balloon steady,"
"Let’s use the Bubblegum Blower lever! Ms. Poppy said it helps in emergencies,"
With a determined tug, they steady the balloon, regaining control as the confetti drifts away.
Ms. Poppy waits at the landing site, waving as the balloon touches down softly. Jasper and Maya leap out, faces flushed with excitement.
"That was the best ride ever! Next time, let’s bring the whole class,"
"And I want to see if the Bubble King really does exist,"
"Every ride is a new adventure," Ms. Poppy says with a wink, handing out sweet pink gum to everyone.
"I can’t wait to fly again," Jasper grins, the taste of bubblegum and adventure lingering on his tongue.
