Benny was sprawled out on the grass, his fluffy white tail twitching with defiance. His parents, Mama Bunny and Papa Bunny, looked on with concern.
"Benny, would you like to join us for breakfast?"
"No." Benny replied, his voice firm and unyielding.
"Do you want to play with your friends today?" Papa Bunny asked gently.
"No." Benny shot back, the only word he seemed to know these days.
Benny felt a strange tug at his heart, but shrugged it off as he bounded away from his parents.
"No," he whispered, but the words came out hollow and empty. Suddenly, he realized he couldn't say anything else, his voice caught in a strange silence.
Benny watched as a group of bunnies played nearby, their laughter ringing through the air. He longed to join them but could only watch, his voice trapped in a single word.
"No," he tried to say, but his parents seemed to understand his struggle.
"We're here, Benny. Whenever you're ready to listen," Mama Bunny murmured, her voice warm with love.
Benny realized that he could hear the wisdom in their words, even if he couldn't speak his own. He nodded, and for the first time, his actions spoke louder than words.
"Welcome back, Benny," Papa Bunny said with a smile, pulling him into a warm embrace.
