Dora points excitedly to a mysterious, vine-covered clearing, where the light grows dimmer. Boots clutches her hand, his eyes wide with both curiosity and worry, while Geo Umizoomi scans the area with his trusty gadget. Suddenly, a wispy white figure floats from behind a tree, glowing softly and letting out a low "Boo!" "Yikes! Run! Ghost! Run for your lives!" "Yikes! Ghost! Let's get out of here!" "This is not what I calculated! Run!" The three friends dart through the tangled underbrush, leaves rustling loudly as they flee in terror.
Dora, Boots, and Geo Umizoomi rush to their mothers, explaining breathlessly what has happened. "Mom, there was a ghost! It tried to scare us! It said boo right at us!" The moms exchange glances, then gather their children close. Dora's Mom, wise and calm, reassures them. "Let's all go together and see what this ghost is about. Sometimes things aren't as scary as they seem."
As they approach, the ghost emerges once again, swirling and glowing brighter than before. Boots' Mom takes a deep breath and steps forward, holding her child's hand. Geo Umizoomi tries to scan the ghost, while Dora clings tightly to her mom. Suddenly, the ghost swoops in close and shouts, "Boo!" right in their faces. Instantly, all of them—moms, kids, and even the bravest among them—scream together, "Ahhh! The ghost said boo in our faces!" They drop their lanterns and run back toward the safety of the camp.
Geo's Dad quickly gathers everyone around, listening as the story tumbles out. Dora, Boots, and Geo Umizoomi recount the ghost's haunting "boo," while the moms nod in agreement, still shaken. "Alright, let's go see for ourselves what this ghost is made of," declares Geo's Dad, rallying the family for a second investigation.
Just as the tension peaks, a gust of wind blows, and the ghost's sheet catches on a branch, tumbling to the ground. Beneath the sheet is Swiper, the sneaky fox, giggling uncontrollably. "Heehee! I just wanted to have a little fun and see if I could give everyone a friendly scare!" The families burst out laughing, their fear melting away as they realize it was all a harmless trick.
Dora smiles at Swiper, forgiving him for the prank. "Next time, just join our campfire instead of scaring us!" "Deal!" The friends and their families enjoy the rest of the night, feeling braver and closer than ever before.
